Rat-na 40 years

This place is totally different from my last food review because everything in here is kind of old-fashioned tradition and a little bit country. Actually at first they were selling only fried noodle with pork and baby Chinesekale (baby Chinese kale is not bitter at all if compare to the regular kale) but then they had more customers and being well-known spread all over the close area. This simple restaurant is called "40 years Friend noodle". It's located on Taling Chan road near the Esso gas station but you have to drive cross the bridge before seeing the Esso gas station, the restaurant is right next to the gas station..

My first dish is both of the recommended in this restaurant and also my favorite one too, it's "Fried noodle with pork and baby kale" or Rat-na in Thai In here they use stir-fried wide rice noodles, tender marinated pork, garlic and baby Chinese kale then covered in a sticky gravy which made of their secret recipe stock mix with cornstarch. I love the gravy at this restaurant because it's not too sticky and all the flavors are mixing very well with chop garlics. There are many kind of noodles depend on customers just like wide rice noodles, thin egg noodles, crispy thin egg noodles and rice vermicelli. I don't like when having this dish with regular kale because it's way too bitter and doesn't get along with the gravy at all but baby Chinese kale is fresh, crunchy, sweet also easy to chew. The restaurant use their marinated tender pork with every menu they have and it is obviously something they can't tell about what ingredients to marinate the pork. I like having noodles with soup or gravy so every time I order this menu but today I am going to try a new recommended one named "Fried noodles with soya sauce and pork" or I call them personally as "Brown noodles". Thai called them as "Phat-si-ew".  Their tastes are often too salty or too sweet and if add too much soya sauce, it'll taste bitter. This dish made with dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, egg, garlic, noodles and signature marinated pork. The name of this dish comes from the soy sauce they used in the dish, which is called "Si-io". You can order other types of noodles in here too. But this time I would like to order the same noodles as "Rat-na". It comes in nice brown color with good smell of soy sauce and the noodles which perfectly cooked. You can add sugar, vinegar or chili powder whatever you want but I add more sugar this time because brown noodles for me have to be sweet. This dish is not having any bitter taste and I know now why it's one of the recommended of this restaurant. Everything goes pretty well together and all tastes are balanced. They also have so many various menu depend on customers such as rice, macaroni, sea food, many kinds of meats and vegetables.

What I love about this restaurant is simplicity, convenience and kind of quick in rush hour too. Anyway for me this restaurant might not look trendy like McDonald but for sure, food in here ishealthier than them. I would like to give the star according toward my feeling and my thoughts.

Hiiii Dear ~<3

We din't meet for a while do you guys miss me? haha

I've already written about bakery and buffet last time (you can see in archive bar right side)

Now it's queue for a cool drinks with the best promotion for SWU students like us!!!!

Ta-daaaaaaa!!!!

It is
.

Mr.Cup T
A common beverages shop but taste isn't that common at all
The shop catch the eyes by the orange-black theme and a large cup model

Mr.CupT serves too much kind of drinks whether it is .......

GREEN TEA

MILK TEA

Milk Tea w/ Jelly Ball is the one I like most
Delicious milk tea, fragrant smell. less ice and chewy jelly ball, all of these make me fascinated. haha

Therefore i drink it almost every day!! kiki

< This is what i'm talking about! <3<3<3

FRUIT TEA / COFFEE

and JENMAI MILK TEA

Jenmai milk tea is milk tea which is smell of Japanese rice.

As i've tried it once, ti think it smell really good but it's a little less sweet so i prefer an original milk tea.

some pics of cool drinks....
sound great huh?

ahh yeah i've tried cocoa once also. it's really strong taste of cocoa. delicious one!

They also have many topping to add on. There are...

- Jelly Ball
- Black Jelly
- Wheat
- Aloe
- Fruit Jelly
- Pudding
- Ice cream

Moreover, you also can choose which sweetness level you like.

More sugar 30%, 50%, 70% or

Less sugar 30%, 50%, 70%

according to their concept which is "serve what you want"

can control sweetness level like this would be satisfied to girls isn't it?

I've tried less sugar 50% once, Although it's almost no sweet taste; it's still taste good and sweet fragrance. So don't worry if you're on diet girls. kiki

BTW because i really love the basic one so i din't try much menu so if you guys ever tried another one please share !! ^w^ maybe after read yer comment I'll go try that one too!!

Now most of you may wonder that why i love mr.cupt so much right?

I've tried milk tea with jelly ball from many brands and I found these make me prefer Mr.CupT

1. Mr.CupT has less ice than "Mr.Shake"

2. (In my Opinion) I think Mr.CupT's milk tea is taste better than "Dakasi"

3. Mr.CupT's jelly ball is bigger than "Monkey Shake"

4. If compared w/ other brands that are delicious as well, for me other brands are usually more expensive than Mr.CupT. do you know why??

Because...............

At Asoke branch they have a 10 baht discount promotion for SWU students !!!!!!!!!!!

Moreover, at other branch, to add jelly ball you normally have to pay more 10 baht but!!

At Asoke jelly ball is only 5 bath!!!!!! wowwww

Let's see how it's worth

If i want to have an L SIZE cup of MILK TEA w/ DOUBLE JELLY BALL

normally it's
70 baht but at Asoke branch i can buy it with only 45 baht!!!

That's why i love Mr.Cupt the most hahaha

Time to rate

Taste: <3<3<3<3<3 (5)

One of the most famous restaurant here is Jeong Won ,is Korea restaurant. I went there for many times with family and friends. So This is my favorite one that I really want to RECOMMEND you guys :D “ Aroi mak”

before we start, I just want to let you know a little bit of Korean food cuisine :) ...

“The most well known Korean Foods are Bulgogi and Kimchi. In fact, however, Koreans are pround of their diet, which is quite various and full of nutrition. It is richly endowed with fermented foods, vegetables and grains. Kimchi and Doenjang paste are the best-known examples of Korean femented foods.  Doenjand (soy bean paste), a traditional Korean food that is fermented from soybeans, has been a fixture of the Korean diet for many centuries. Recently it has received great attention from western medicine experts for its nutritional and medicinal values.
As a kind of pickled vegetable, Kimchi was first made in Korea around the 7th century. The origin of the name, Kimchi is believed to be from Shimchae (salting of vegetables), which went through some phonetic changes Shimchae, Dimchae, Kimchae to become Kimchi.
Kimchi is low calories and cholesterol, very high in fiber and richer in vitamins than apples. The hot and spicy taste stimulates the appetite, and it is full of vitamins and essential minerals.
Some of the main ingredients in Korean cuisine are Garlic and Red Chili Pepper. These basic ingredients are used in almost every dish, especially in Kimchi. Garlic and Red Chili Peppers are said to help to lower chloresterol and as well as to reduce blood pressure.
The preparation of Korean food is designed to provide healthy meals with plenty of taste, Koreans use a lot of naturally preserved foods, which contributes to the bolder flavers to their dishes. Steaming and boiling are the most common ways to cook vegetables, and many soups and stews are left to simmer for long periods of time to intensify the flavor of the ingredients.
A Korean meal is generally not served in courses, like a classic Western meal, but is served all at once.
Dining is a communal affair in Korea. Many side dishes (Banchan) are places in the middle of the table for everyone to share while enjoying each other company.”

Wowwwwwww!!!! so having fallen in love with Korean food <3

Let's start with the first dish ...

" Dol Sot Bi Bim Bup" - Assorted with beef/pork it's your choice and fried egg served in a hot stone pot.

Ootoya is a modern little Japanese restaurant offers healthy set meals at good prices which is open from 10.00-21.00 every day. All ingredients included in the menu are guaranteed from organic hygiene farm such as pork and meat products come from Betagro Group. There are couple delicious healthy side-dishes in every set.

Ootoya first branch was opened at Siam Paragon Ground floor and they decorated as a cozy traditional Japanese home by using warm color furniture. Ootoya can fit with every group of people because their food are really healthy and various.

My favorite items are also being the recommended dishes from Ootoya which are Charcoal grilled mackerel (Saba) set, Deep fried breadcrumb shrimp patty and Green tea with roasted Japanese rice. Grilled fish in here is fresh, taste natural and without any seasoning so you’ll get definitely exact flavor from nature. The charcoal grilled mackerel (Saba) set is my main dish included Grilled mackerel (Saba), Japanese rice, miso soup, fresh grated radish, pickled cabbage and a side-dish on that day which I’ve got Boiled vegetables in chicken broth. The second dish is deep fried breadcrumb shrimp patty which served with slice cabbage salad and tonkatsu sauce for dipping the shrimp patty. I love fried food in here because they are almost taste like oil less and so light difference from others. Special thing in here is the refill of rice and drink. If you order a set and you want more rice, they refill it for you free. But you actually have to order the set which include rice though.
I would love to recommend green tea for drink because it’s unique. They add roasted Japanese rice for better taste and smell but if you want something heavy than green tea so try to order their significant soy milk with black sugar syrup.<3 xoxo
